Ég heiti Valgeir Örn Kristjánsson og er 49 ára
Ég er fæddur og uppalinn í Reykjavík. Þegar ég var um 5-6 ára þá flutti ég í Bjarnafjörðinn. Árið 1989 fluttum við til Hólmavíkur og er ég búsettur þar í dag.
Ég er húsasmiður að mennt og starfa ég við það. Mér finnst mjög gaman í vinnunni og legg ég metnað í það sem ég geri. Einnig er ég formaður HSS.
Ég á þrjú uppkomin börn.
Áhugamál: Mótorsport, kajak róður og gamlir bátar.
Ég brenn fyrir: Sveitarfélaginu okkar og fólkinu sem hér býr. Einnig brenn ég fyrir samstöðu, samvinnu og þátttöku íbúa í að móta samfélagið. Mig langar til að sjá að uppbyggingin fari fram í samráði við heimamenn sem og nýja íbúa, að styðja við verktaka og smærri fyrirtæki til að skapa störf og efla atvinnulíf. Sveitarstjórn á að vinna með íbúum sem og að styrkja samheldni og þátttöku allra.
Helstu áherslur í sveitarstjórn:
* Uppbygging staðarins í samvinnu við heimamenn og nýja íbúa.
* Stuðning við verktaka og smærri fyrirtæki til að styrkja atvinnulíf og skapa störf á svæðinu.

My name is Valgeir Örn Kristjánsson and I am 49 years old
I was born and raised in Reykjavík. When I was about 5-6 years old I moved to Bjarnafjörður. In 1989 we moved to Hólmavík and I live there today.
I am a carpenter by training and I work as one. I really enjoy my work and take pride in what I do. I am also the chairman of HSS.
I have three grown children.
Hobbies: Motorsports, kayaking and old boats.
I am passionate about: Our municipality and the people who live here. I am also passionate about solidarity, cooperation and the participation of residents in shaping the community. I would like to see the development carried out in consultation with locals as well as new residents, to support contractors and smaller businesses to create jobs and strengthen the economy. The local government should work with residents and to strengthen the cohesion and participation of everyone.
Main focuses of the local government:
