The party

The Progressive Party is a liberal social-democratic party that works towards continuous improvements in society and the resolution of common societal issues based on collaboration and equality. It safeguards the political, economic, and cultural independence of Icelanders, built on democracy, parliamentary governance, and legal security. The progressive ideology places the individual and their welfare at the forefront.
